5/15/2025Dominique Smith Wellness Coordinator for Luling

Dominique Smith was born and raised in New Orleans. She grew up on the West Bank and attended De La Salle High School where she was a cross country and track & field athlete. Dominique attended Nicholls State University for Allied Health Sciences. While attending undergrad, she was the President of Beta Sigma Iota, which was an organization that advocated for students on campus and in the community with disabilities. Helping students on campus not only stimulate their minds but also their bodies was rewarding within itself. She found a passion in Physical Therapy through volunteering in inpatient and outpatient settings and understanding the importance of wellness and investing in our health.

After graduating with her Bachelors of Science degree from Nicholls State University in 2020, she decided to work in the physical therapy field as a technician and has over four years of experience working in outpatient clinics. “I look forward to becoming a part of the Cypress Physical Therapy family as their Wellness coordinator and helping promote wellness through the resourceful technology from Evergreen.”

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to new places around the world while trying different cuisines.
