Luling, LA – Cypress Physical Therapy will open its fourth location in Louisiana in June 2023 in Luling, LA. This will make the fifth location for the growing physical therapy provider with future plans for expansion across the Gulf Coast. The Luling location will feature the same modern, state of the art look and feel Cypress patients have come to expect with a large open gym space, private treatment rooms and an open reception style creating a welcoming environment as soon as a patient walks through the doors. Cypress in Luling will be owned by local partner, Patrick Hennessey.

Patrick obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at LSU Health and Science Center New Orleans in 2016 and his bachelor’s degree at Louisiana State University in 2013, where he studied Kinesiology with a focus in Human Movement. He is certified in dry needling through American Academy of Manipulative Therapy as well as spinal manipulation and other various manual therapy techniques.

Upon graduating LSUHSC New Orleans, Patrick began his physical therapy career in St. Charles Parish working in an outpatient setting, heavily focused on orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, and occupational health. Patrick has been involved in the St. Charles Parish school system, working heavily with Hahnville High School, volunteering to provide sideline coverage for football games along with assisting with athletic training for baseball, basketball, and other various sports. Patrick also has a passion for working in occupational health, performing pre- and post-employment testing, return to work testing, fit for duty testing for various industrial plants in St. Charles Parish as well as performing Functional Capacity Evaluations.

“As someone who has worked in the St. Charles community for years, I am excited to bring my style of treatment to the Cypress team and provide a great space for our patients to make their recovery,” said Patrick Hennessey, local partner.

Cypress Physical Therapy opened its first location in LaPlace, LA in 2016 and soon partnered with Dustin Roussel to open a clinic in Gramercy, LA less than one year later. Immediately before the pandemic, Cypress partnered with Jonathan Pecoraro to open a location in Hammond, LA and worked through the pandemic to open in February 2021, holding construction design and update meetings by Zoom. Last year, Cypress partnered with Phillip Richard to open its first location outside Louisiana in Orange, TX.

“Patrick’s energy is infectious and we are excited to partner with him as we create another space to bring the Cypress atmosphere to the rest of the River Parishes,” said Cypress founder Christopher Cancienne.

Cypress in Luling is owned by Patrick Hennessey, Christopher Cancienne, and Buddy Boe and will be located at 12807 Hwy 90, Suite 101, Luling, LA 70070.
