Gonzales location extends Cypress branches west

Gonzales, LA – Cypress Physical Therapy will open its fifth location in Louisiana in August 2024 in Gonzales, LA. This will make the sixth location for the growing physical therapy provider with continued plans for expansion across the Gulf Coast. The Gonzales location will feature the same modern, state of the art look and feel Cypress patients have come to expect with a large open gym space, private treatment rooms and an open reception style creating a welcoming environment as soon as a patient walks through the doors. The Gonzales location will offer additional services not currently available at other Cypress locations.

Located in the Conway Development south of I-10 on Highway 44, the new location offers a large amount of treatment gym space, a focus on athletics, and specialty services new to Cypress. The largest clinic to be opened by Cypress is located in an area primed for development for years to come.

“I’ve always thought Gonzales would be a great region for Cypress to grow into and we are excited that the Conway development offered the perfect space and atmosphere for our clinic and services,” said Dustin Roussel, local partner.

Cypress Physical Therapy opened its first location in LaPlace, LA in 2016 and soon partnered with Dustin Roussel to open a clinic in Gramercy, LA less than one year later. Immediately before the pandemic, Cypress partnered with Jonathan Pecoraro to open a location in Hammond, LA and worked through the pandemic to open in February 2021, holding construction design and update meetings by Zoom. In 2022, Cypress partnered with Phillip Richard to open its first location outside Louisiana in Orange, TX. In 2023, Luling was added to the regions being served by Cypress with the clinic located on Hwy 90.

“Last year we opened in Luling to stretch to the eastern end of the River Parishes, now Gonzales will be a great facility to provide our current and new services to the Gonzales region and beyond,” said Cypress founder Christopher Cancienne.

Cypress in Gonzales is owned by Christopher Cancienne, Dustin Roussel and Buddy Boe and will be located at 7530 Highway 44.
