Born in Baton Rouge and raised in Albany, Ian Goodwin is a Louisiana native through and through. He is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and now serves as the Clinic Director of Cypress Physical Therapy’s Hammond location. Ian also holds the role of Quality Review Coordinator for the company, ensuring high standards of patient care across all Cypress Physical Therapy clinics. Ian works diligently with each patient, utilizing therapeutic exercises and advanced treatments to help them return to a pain-free life. He began his path into physical therapy after healing from his own sports injuries as a high school athlete, which sparked his passion for education and functional health. He believes in working closely with patients to help restore their quality of life and finds immense fulfillment in serving and influencing his community. After studying at Southeastern Louisiana University to complete his prerequisite courses, Ian was accepted into Delgado’s PTA program, where he graduated in 2017. He is FMS Level 2 and AIB-VRC certified, specializing in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion care. He is dedicated to continuously advancing his education to provide the highest quality of care for his patients. When he is not caring for patients at the clinic, you can most likely find Ian traveling, attending LSU football games, or spending time with his beautiful wife, Renee.
