Chris is the owner and founder of Cypress Physical Therapy. He obtained his doctorate degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center of New Orleans in 2011 and his bachelors degree at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 2007, where he studied Kinesiology with a focus on human movement. His post graduate certifications include Functional Dry Needling, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage, Functional Capacity Evaluations and is trained in other various manual therapy techniques.
Since obtaining his doctorate degree, Chris has been serving patients of the River Region in the outpatient setting as well as in the home. He has treated local high school, college, and professional athletes and in a wide range of sports including football, baseball, basketball, and gymnastics. Chris has a special interest in bridging the gap between rehab and performance and ensuring athletes return to sport as quickly and as safely as possible. Other areas of special interest include chronic pain, post-surgical care, and balance disorders.
Chris is a LaPlace, LA native where he resides with his wife, Aimee and two children, Cooper and Emerson. He attended St. Charles Catholic where he excelled in prep sports earning him an athletic scholarship. He is an active member of the LaPlace Lions Club and on the St. John The Baptist Parish Recreation Board.
